Five Questions
with April Hunter!

Who helped you get your start in professional wrestling, trainers, promoters, etc.?

"I kinda of started thru WCW. I was a valet for the nWo. Talk about starting at the "bottom", huh? Not. From there I moved to Boston to attend Killer Kowalski's school. One of my first real matches was on TNA vs Alan (Ms. TNA) Funk. Before that, it was hard to get booked as a wrestler, but after getting my butt royally kicked on TV, I got lots more offers."

When you’re not wrestling, how do you like to spend your time?

"Away from wrestling, lol. I do a lot of work on my own site, aprilhunter.com. I'm also a massive, psychotic movie fan. I love all sorts of films. I also read. A lot."

Have you worked with her before and what can you tell us about Christie Ricci?

"She's a force to be reckoned with, that's for sure. One of the few---only?---girls to stand eye to eye, shoulder to shoulder with me. And she can GO in the ring. I always think of her as one of my ultimate challenges."

What can your fans do to show their support for you and women’s professional wrestling?

"Come out to the shows and/or join my site. Wrestling on this level doesn't pay very much and the traveling is hard, so by joining my site, it shows a lot of support."

What is something that not many people know about you?

"I still have a security blanket I sleep with. No matter how far from the USA or what hotel room I'm in, it's a bit of home I can bring with me."
