Being a Mississippi girl was anything but ordinary growing up as a child. I was born in Jackson, Mississippi which is about 20 miles from my hometown of Clinton, Mississippi. Clinton is a very small town with few bright lights and especially no long lines or busy streets, but I am still proud to call it my hometown.

My family owned a catfish farm, so my fondest memories as a child were fishing, chasing crawfish in the creek behind our house, catching fireflies in a mason jar, and riding four-wheelers. I was a tomboy without a doubt! I was convinced that there was nothing the boys could do that I couldn’t do. I even remember my seventh birthday, when my mom gave me a manicure set. Instead of using the set for its intended use, I used the fingernail file to dig up earthworms for fishing bait. I really miss those days! I didn’t have a care in the world, except whether or not it was going to rain.

My love for wrestling developed shortly after my first exposure to the sport at a very young age. At the age of eight, I attended Sunday School with Teddy Dibiase Jr., the son of the Million Dollar Man. That was the age I first discovered professional wrestling, and I have been hooked since. I had said I was going to be a wrestler from a very young age. Most of the time, people believe that’s just kids talking. Who would've thought I would have actually pursued it?

In my teenage years, my family relocated to Nashville, TN, and this is where I currently reside. I never really grew out of my tomboy tendencies as a teen, but I did find the softer side of myself. I was very athletic all through school as I excelled in softball, basketball, and soccer, but my softer side came through when I decided to compete in beauty pageants. I had the time of my lift traveling in highschool to compete on different levels. I captured a few titles including, Miss Teen Tennessee at the age of sixteen and competed at the National Level at the Miss United States Teen Pageant. I truly do believe that all of your experiences in life make you who you are, and I am truly grateful for these experiences. These competitions founded the base of the well rounded independent female I strive to be and am today.

Directly after High School, I attended college at Middle Tennessee State University. In August of 2004, I received a Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. I decided to attend to MTSU because it was fairly close to my family, and I am very family oriented. At that time in my life, I did not feel that God was leading me in a new path therefore I stayed close to home. Of course he knew what he was doing, because it was in Nashville where I met my trainer, Lei Lani Kai. I would not have wanted to be trained by anyone else and am so grateful that I got to learn from one of the greatest females in our business.

For the time being I am doing my thing; wrestling, working, training, learning, and most importantly getting to know my own desires. I am at a point in my life where I am changing everyday, and I am recognizing these changes. So what does the future hold for me? Well, we will have to wait and see which paths God paves for me. I truly do feel that I have the world at my fingertips and the foundation to succeed at whatever path I may choose in the future. For now, I could not be happier. I am living my dream and I have an awesome family that supports me in every aspect of life. I am very grateful for my family, friends and fans. Through God, I know there is nothing I cannot overcome, accomplish, or achieve.
