Part 1 saw Venus completely dominate the action, really taking it to Christie, leaving her almost out as Venus prepared to finish her and claim the win. It appeared this day and match belonged to Venus. It may have had she not taunted Christie instead of going for the pin. That gave the Mississippi Queen the time she needed to regroup and get back in the match and as you can see in the photos below, that is exactly what Christie did.
